AEG UNIVERSAL LOWER (Ver4.4) for MTW Grip

Version 4.4 of the Lower for Gearbox V2, specifically designed to use an MTW-type grip Modular Training Weapon.

This universal lower has been optimized for AEG replicas converted to HPA with an MTW grip. This model has been reworked again, and in this version the hole has been enlarged to route the air pressure hose through the grip opening. The looseness present in the previous model on certain replica models has also been corrected.

Two-piece design (top + bottom) with optimized printing and minimal support requirements.

Main Features

• Natively compatible with MTW-type grip (Wolverine).
• Two-piece structure (top + bottom) for optimized printing.
• OEM holes for mounting MCU units, just like on original gearboxes.
• Specific supports for Gate Titan 2.
• Integrated selector plate that inserts into the designated holes.
• Unified screw compatibility: compatible with OEM screws from any standard gearbox.
• ICS central slot and space for the upper ears, compatible with ICS split designs.

Note: You may need to slightly enlarge the trigger hole and the safety lever hole, as each manufacturer uses different thicknesses for these parts.

If you also need a grip, you can purchase the Magpul MOE-K2 MOD (3 available versions), specifically designed to work with this model. It includes all the necessary holes; you only need to print and assemble it.

Assembly and Screws

• OEM screws from any standard V2 gearbox.
• Grip: attached using an M6 screw.
• The selector plate parts are inserted into the designated holes.

3D Printing

Print Orientation

• Top and Bottom: print with the flat face down and the interior facing up.
• Supports: only required in the grip area; the rest of the model does not require supports.

Recommended Settings

• Approximate print time: ~3–4 h, depending on the printer
• Recommended material: PLA+
• Layer height: 0.15 mm – 0.20 mm
• Recommended infill: 75–100% for maximum strength
• Supports: only in the grip area

ICS-Compatible Design

This lower follows the ICS standard:

• Central slot for the split system.
