Version 2.1 of the hop-up alignment system, designed for SR-25 DMR AEG HPA replicas with a V2.5 gearbox.
This kit is designed to combine the Sparklabs WOLF Gen. 2 Semi Auto engine with a MAXX Model hop-up chamber, ensuring stable positioning between the nozzle and the hop-up chamber. The assembly reduces lateral movement, improves feeding consistency, and helps maintain a solid setup for DMR builds. The WOLF uses an electromagnetic system with adjustable nozzle travel, allowing precise adaptation to the installed chamber. [154][209]
Compatibility
| Component | Compatibility |
|---|---|
| HPA Engine | Sparklabs WOLF Gen. 2 Semi Auto |
| Hop-up Chamber | MAXX Model |
| Base Replica | SR-25 DMR AEG |
| Gearbox | Extended V2.5 |
This model is designed for SR-25 V2.5 gearboxes. Always check your gearbox's internal geometry, nozzle length, and chamber seating before final assembly. Some SR-25 receivers may require minor adjustments to ensure the MAXX chamber and magazine feeding system operate without interference. [210][214]
What's Included in the Kit
- Alignment base specifically designed for V2.5 SR-25 gearboxes.
- Rear clip to stabilize the engine and gearbox assembly.
- Front support to secure the MAXX Model chamber.

Installation and Adjustment
-
Preparing the Parts
- Print with 65%–80% infill.
- Lightly sand the contact surfaces until a clean fit is achieved.
- Apply dry lubricant or wax if you need to disassemble the assembly frequently.
-
Installing the HPA Assembly
- Install the Sparklabs WOLF in the V2.5 gearbox.
- Install the MAXX Model chamber with the inner barrel, then secure its position using the front support.
- Adjust the WOLF's nozzle travel stop so the nozzle enters the chamber centrally without excessive pressure.
- Route the HPA line through the side support to prevent kinks or friction.
-
Final Checks
- Secure the rear plate with an M5 screw and washer if your setup allows it.
- Manually check nozzle movement and magazine seating.
- Perform feeding tests before adjusting pressure, dwell, and firing settings.
DMR Recommendations
- Configure the WOLF for semi-automatic operation in accordance with your field's regulations.
- Adjust power only within local legal limits and event rules.
- Use heavier BBs and a suitable bucking and inner barrel combination for a stable DMR setup.
- Do not force the nozzle against the chamber: proper alignment provides more reliable feeding than excessive pressure.
