Version 2.5 of the hop-up alignment system, specifically designed for SR25 DMR HPA replicas using:

  • Wolverine Inferno MTW engine (modular HPA engine designed for MTW platforms, with excellent response and native SR25 compatibility).
  • MAXX MODEL chamber (high-performance hop-up chamber optimized for DMR and HPA, with excellent heavy-bucking support and precise adjustment).

This kit, adapted for the V2.5 long gearbox, ensures perfect centering between the Inferno MTW nozzle and the MAXX MODEL chamber, eliminating typical alignment issues in long-travel DMR builds. Compatible with ICS lowers and SR25 split configurations.

Base Replica SR25 DMR
Gearbox V2.5 long / ICS SPLIT

What the kit includes

  • Reinforced rear clip for mounting on a V2.5 long gearbox (rear pin or fixed stock).
  • Extended base with housing for M3 inserts (brass recommended for DMR builds).
  • Enlarged side clip for routing the HPA tube/line in SR25 platforms.
  • Front locking top cap specifically designed for MAXX MODEL chambers in DMR setups.
  • Rear plate with mounting point for an M5 screw (critical reinforcement for long-travel builds).

Installation and adjustment

  1. Printing and preparation

    • Print the parts with 70–85% infill (extra reinforcement for DMR builds).
    • Lightly sand internal areas for a precise fit in the long gearbox.
    • Apply dry lubricant on sliding surfaces to facilitate maintenance.
  2. Installation in the replica

    • Insert the extended base into the ICS lower and install the M3 inserts.
    • Align the rear clip with the V2.5 long gearbox rear pin.
    • Install the MAXX MODEL chamber with the long DMR inner barrel; the top cap locks the assembly while maintaining perfect alignment.
    • Route the Inferno MTW HPA line through the enlarged side clip, ensuring enough clearance for the extended SR25 travel.
  3. Final fixation

    • Secure the rear plate using an M5 screw and large washer for maximum rigidity in DMR builds.
    • Verify the full travel of the MTW nozzle inside the MAXX MODEL chamber.
    • Perform tests using heavy BBs (0.40 g+) and adjust the Inferno pressure (60–100 PSI recommended for DMR).

Required components (not included)

  • 4× M3 × 4.2 mm inserts (brass recommended for DMR builds).
  • 4× M3 × 8 SHCS screws.
  • 1× M5 × 20 mm screw + washer (rear plate fixation).

Lower receiver recommendations

Compatible with the original ICS metal lower receiver (recommended for SR25 DMR builds).
If you prefer to print the lower part, the following Gearbox V2 Lower “Universal Lower Part” models adapted for V2.5 long gearboxes are compatible:

  • Version 3
  • Version 4.2
  • Version 4.3 MTW

You can find them HERE.

3D printing parameters

  • Approximate print time: ~2 h (larger parts due to long gearbox design).
  • Recommended material: PLA+ or PETG (PETG recommended for DMR builds).
  • Layer height: 0.10 mm – 0.15 mm
  • Infill: 70–85% (structural reinforcement).
