Version 2.5 of the hop-up alignment system, specifically designed for SR25 DMR HPA replicas using:

  • Wolverine Inferno 2 or Reaper 2 engines (high-flow HPA engines optimized for DMR configurations).
  • PROWIN chamber (high-precision hop-up chamber for long-range builds).

This kit is adapted for the V2.5 long gearbox (SR25) and ensures perfect alignment between the Wolverine nozzle and the PROWIN chamber, maximizing feeding stability in DMR configurations using heavy BB weights (0.40 g+). Compatible with ICS lowers and split designs.

Compatibility

Component Compatibility
HPA Engine Wolverine Inferno 2 / Reaper 2
Hop-up Chamber PROWIN
Base Replica SR25 DMR AEG
Gearbox V2.5 long / ICS SPLIT

What the kit includes

  • Reinforced rear clip for mounting on a V2.5 long gearbox via rear pin or fixed stock.
  • Extended base with housing for M3 inserts (optional brass, recommended for DMR builds).
  • Side clip for routing the Wolverine HPA tube/line.
  • Front locking top cap specifically designed for the PROWIN chamber in SR25 platforms.
  • Rear plate with mounting point for an M5 screw (critical reinforcement for DMR stability).

Installation and adjustment

  1. Printing and preparation

    • Print the parts with 75–90% infill (higher rigidity for DMR builds).
    • Lightly sand internal areas and contact surfaces for a precise fit in the long gearbox.
    • Apply dry lubricant on sliding surfaces to reduce friction.
  2. Installation in the replica

    • Insert the extended base into the ICS lower and secure the M3 inserts.
    • Install the rear clip aligned with the V2.5 long gearbox rear pin.
    • Install the PROWIN chamber with the long DMR inner barrel; the top cap locks the assembly while maintaining perfect alignment.
    • Route the Inferno 2 / Reaper 2 HPA line through the side clip (optimized routing for SR25).
  3. Final fixation

    • Secure the rear plate using an M5 screw and large washer for maximum rigidity in DMR builds.
    • Verify that the Wolverine nozzle enters centered into the PROWIN chamber without lateral play.
    • Adjust the Wolverine pressure to 80–120 PSI for DMR and test with 0.40 g+ BBs to confirm consistency.

Required components (not included)

  • 4× M3 × 4.2 mm inserts (brass recommended for DMR durability).
  • 4× M3 × 8 SHCS screws.
  • 1× M5 × 12 mm screw + washer (rear plate fixation).

Lower receiver recommendations

It is recommended to use the ICS metal lower receiver specific for SR25 (maximum rigidity for DMR builds).
If you prefer to print the lower part, the following Gearbox V2 Lower “Universal Lower Part” models are compatible with SR25 platforms:

  • Version 3
  • Version 4.2
  • Version 4.3 MTW

You can find them HERE.

3D printing parameters

  • Approximate print time: ~2 h (larger parts due to the long gearbox).
  • Recommended material: PLA+ or PETG (higher strength recommended for DMR builds).
  • Layer height: 0.10 mm – 0.15 mm
  • Infill: 75–90 %
