Version 2.5 of the hop-up alignment system, specifically designed for SR25 DMR HPA replicas with a V2.5 long gearbox using:
- Wolverine Inferno 2 / Reaper 2 engines (high-performance HPA engines with advanced control, compatible with DMR configurations).
- MAXX MODEL chamber (high-precision hop-up chamber optimized for HPA and DMR).
This kit ensures absolute alignment between the Wolverine nozzle and the MAXX MODEL chamber in the V2.5 long gearbox, eliminating the typical lateral offset issues found in SR25 platforms and maximizing feeding consistency in long-range DMR setups. Compatible with ICS lowers and split systems.
Compatibility
| Component | Compatibility |
|---|---|
| HPA Engine | Wolverine Inferno 2 / Reaper 2 |
| Hop-up Chamber | MAXX MODEL |
| Base Replica | SR25 DMR |
| Gearbox | V2.5 long / ICS SPLIT |
What the kit includes
- Reinforced rear clip for mounting via rear pin or fixed stock (adapted for long gearboxes).
- Extended base with housing for M3 inserts (brass recommended for DMR builds).
- Side clip for guiding the Wolverine HPA tube/line.
- Front locking top cap specifically designed for the MAXX MODEL chamber in SR25 platforms.
- Rear plate with mounting point for an M5 screw (additional structural reinforcement).
Installation and adjustment
-
Printing and preparation
- Print the parts with 70–90% infill (higher rigidity for DMR builds).
- Lightly sand internal areas and contact surfaces for a precise fit.
- Apply dry lubricant on moving areas to reduce friction.
-
Installation in the replica
- Insert the extended base into the ICS lower and install the M3 inserts (brass recommended for durability).
- Place the rear clip aligned with the V2.5 long gearbox rear pin.
- Install the MAXX MODEL chamber with the long DMR inner barrel; the top cap locks the assembly while maintaining perfect alignment.
- Route the Inferno 2 / Reaper 2 HPA line through the reinforced side clip.
-
Final fixation
- Secure the rear plate using an M5 screw and large washer for maximum rigidity.
- Verify that the Wolverine nozzle enters perfectly centered into the MAXX MODEL chamber.
- Configure the Wolverine engine for DMR settings (lower PSI, higher volume) and perform precision testing at 60 m+.
Required components (not included)
- 4× M3 × 4.2 mm inserts (brass recommended)
- 4× M3 × 8 SHCS screws
- 1× M5 × 16 screw + washer (rear plate fixation)
Lower receiver recommendations
Compatible with the original ICS lower receiver (metal recommended for DMR builds).
If you prefer to print the lower part, the following Gearbox V2 Lower “Universal Lower Part” models adapted for this system work perfectly:
- Version 3
- Version 4.2
- Version 4.3 MTW
You can find them HERE.
3D printing parameters
- Approximate print time: ~2 h (larger V2.5 parts)
- Recommended material: PLA+ or PETG
- Layer height: 0.10 mm – 0.15 mm
- Infill: 70–90 %
