Version 2.5 of the hop-up alignment system, specifically designed for SR25 DMR HPA replicas using:

  • REDLINE N7 Milsim G2 engine (compact modular HPA engine optimized for long-range DMR configurations).
  • MAXX MODEL chamber (high-precision hop-up chamber with excellent bucking support for heavy BB weights).

This kit is adapted for the V2.5 long gearbox and ensures absolute alignment between the N7 G2 nozzle and the MAXX chamber, eliminating any lateral play that could affect consistency in long-range DMR shots. Fully compatible with ICS lowers and split systems.

What the kit includes

  • Reinforced rear clip for mounting on a V2.5 long gearbox via rear pin.
  • Extended base with housing for M3 inserts (brass recommended for DMR builds).
  • Reinforced side clip for routing the HPA line in long rifle configurations.
  • Front locking top cap specifically designed for the MAXX MODEL chamber.
  • Rear plate with mounting point for an M5 screw (extra reinforcement for DMR rigidity).

Installation and adjustment

  1. Printing and preparation

    • Print the parts with 70–85% infill (reinforced for DMR builds).
    • Lightly sand internal areas and contact surfaces for a precise fit.
    • Apply dry lubricant on moving areas to reduce long-term wear.
  2. Installation in the replica

    • Insert the extended base into the ICS lower and install the brass M3 inserts.
    • Place the rear clip adapted to the V2.5 long gearbox, aligning it with the rear pin.
    • Install the MAXX MODEL chamber with the long DMR inner barrel; the top cap locks the assembly while maintaining perfect alignment.
    • Route the REDLINE N7 G2 HPA line through the reinforced side clip.
  3. Final fixation

    • Secure the rear plate using an M5 screw and large washer for maximum rigidity in DMR builds.
    • Verify that the nozzle is perfectly centered in the MAXX chamber with the barrel installed.
    • Perform feeding tests using heavy BBs (0.40 g+) and adjust the N7 G2 pressure according to your DMR configuration.

Required components (not included)

  • 6× M3 × 4.2 mm inserts (extra for long gearbox reinforcement).
  • 6× M3 × 10 SHCS screws (length adapted for V2.5 gearboxes).

Lower receiver recommendations

Compatible with the original ICS metal lower receiver (recommended for SR25 DMR builds).
If you prefer to print the lower part, the following Gearbox V2 Lower “Universal Lower Part” models work perfectly:

  • Version 3
  • Version 4.2
  • Version 4.3 MTW

You can find them HERE.

3D printing parameters

  • Approximate print time: ~2 h (larger parts due to V2.5 design).
  • Recommended material: PLA+ or PETG (for higher durability in DMR builds).
  • Layer height: 0.10 mm – 0.15 mm
  • Infill: 70–85% (reinforced for long-range builds).
