Version 2.5 of the hop-up alignment system, specifically designed for SR25 DMR HPA replicas (V2.5 long gearbox) using:

  • GATE Pulsar-S engine (compact HPA engine with integrated electronics and excellent response).
  • MAXX MODEL chamber (high-precision hop-up chamber optimized for DMR and HPA).

This kit ensures solid alignment between the Pulsar-S nozzle and the MAXX MODEL chamber on the SR25 platform, compensating for the extra length of the V2.5 gearbox. Compatible with ICS lowers and split systems, ensuring maximum stability in long-range DMR builds.

What the kit includes

  • Reinforced rear clip for mounting via rear pin or fixed stock (adapted for long gearboxes).
  • Extended base with housing for M3 inserts (optional brass for extra durability).
  • Side clip for guiding the HPA tube/line.
  • Front locking top cap specifically designed for MAXX MODEL chambers in SR25 platforms.
  • Rear plate with mounting point for an M5 screw (additional reinforcement for DMR builds).

Installation and adjustment

  1. Printing and preparation

    • Print the parts with 65–80% infill (80% recommended for DMR).
    • Lightly sand internal and contact areas for a precise fit.
    • Apply dry lubricant or wax on sliding surfaces to facilitate maintenance.
  2. Installation in the SR25 replica

    • Insert the extended base into the ICS lower and install the M3 inserts.
    • Place the rear clip aligned with the V2.5 long gearbox rear pin.
    • Install the MAXX MODEL chamber with the long inner barrel; the top cap locks the assembly while keeping everything perfectly centered.
    • Route the GATE Pulsar-S HPA line through the side clip (adapted for the extra travel of the long gearbox).
  3. Final fixation

    • Secure the rear plate using an M5 screw and washer for maximum rigidity in DMR builds.
    • Verify that the Pulsar-S nozzle enters perfectly centered into the MAXX MODEL chamber.
    • Perform feeding tests with 0.32 g+ BBs and adjust the HPA pressure for DMR (low–medium pressure recommended).

Required components (not included)

  • 4× M3 × 4.2 mm inserts (brass recommended for DMR).
  • 4× M3 × 8 SHCS screws.

Lower receiver recommendations

Compatible with the original ICS metal lower receiver (recommended for SR25 DMR builds).
If you prefer to print the lower part, the following Gearbox V2 Lower “Universal Lower Part” models are compatible with V2.5 long gearboxes:

3D printing parameters

  • Approximate print time: ~1 h 45 min (longer parts due to SR25 design).
  • Recommended material: PLA+
  • Layer height: 0.10 mm – 0.15 mm
  • Infill: 80% minimum for DMR builds.
