Version 2.5 of the hop-up alignment system, specifically designed for SR25 DMR HPA replicas (V2.5 long gearbox) using:
- GATE Pulsar-H engine (high-performance compact HPA engine designed for DMR platforms).
- MAXX MODEL chamber (high-precision hop-up chamber optimized for long-range and DMR configurations).
This kit ensures perfect centering between the Pulsar-H nozzle and the MAXX MODEL chamber, essential for maintaining consistency in DMR setups where every millimeter matters. Adapted for the V2.5 long gearbox and fully compatible with ICS lowers.
Compatibility
| Component | Compatibility |
|---|---|
| HPA Engine | GATE Pulsar-H |
| Hop-up Chamber | MAXX MODEL |
| Base Replica | SR25 DMR |
| Gearbox | V2.5 long / ICS SPLIT |
What the kit includes
- Reinforced rear clip for mounting via rear pin or fixed stock (adapted for long gearboxes).
- Extended base with housing for M3 inserts (brass recommended for DMR builds).
- Side clip for guiding the HPA tube/line.
- Front locking top cap specifically designed for MAXX MODEL chambers in SR25 platforms.
- Rear plate with mounting point for an M5 screw (extra reinforcement for increased rigidity).
Installation and adjustment
-
Printing and preparation
- Print the parts with 70–90% infill (higher infill recommended for DMR builds).
- Lightly sand internal areas and contact surfaces for a precise fit.
- Apply dry lubricant on moving areas for long-term builds.
-
Installation in the replica
- Insert the extended base into the ICS lower and install the M3 inserts.
- Place the rear clip aligned with the V2.5 long gearbox rear pin.
- Install the MAXX MODEL chamber with the long inner barrel; the top cap locks the assembly while maintaining precise alignment.
- Route the Pulsar-H HPA line through the side clip optimized for thicker air lines.
-
Final fixation
- Secure the rear plate using an M5 screw and large washer for maximum rigidity in DMR builds.
- Verify that the nozzle is centered in the MAXX MODEL chamber using the long gearbox inspection window.
- Perform testing with heavy BBs (0.32 g+) and adjust the Pulsar-H pressure for the optimal trajectory.
Required components (not included)
- 4× M3 × 4.2 mm inserts (brass recommended for DMR)
- 4× M3 × 8 SHCS screws
- 1× M5 × 16 screw + washer (rear plate fixation)
Lower receiver recommendations
Compatible with original ICS metal lowers (recommended for SR25 DMR builds).
If you prefer to print the lower part, the following Gearbox V2.5 Lower “Universal Lower Part” models are compatible with this DMR kit:
- Version 3 (long adapted)
- Version 4.2 (long adapted)
- Version 4.3 MTW (long adapted)
You can find them HERE.
3D printing parameters
- Approximate print time: ~1 h 45 min (larger parts for V2.5)
- Recommended material: PLA+ or PETG (PETG preferred for DMR)
- Layer height: 0.10 mm – 0.15 mm
- Infill: 70–90% (to withstand DMR recoil)
