Version 2.5 of the hop-up alignment system, specifically designed for SR25 DMR HPA replicas (V2.5 long gearbox) using:

  • GATE Pulsar-D engine (compact HPA engine designed for DMR configurations, with fast response and precise pressure control).
  • MAXX MODEL chamber (high-performance hop-up chamber optimized for DMR, with excellent bucking support and fine hop-up adjustment).

This kit ensures absolute centering between the Pulsar-D nozzle and the MAXX MODEL chamber in V2.5 long gearboxes, eliminating common alignment issues in DMR builds and maximizing long-range precision. Compatible with ICS lowers and SR25 split gearboxes.

What the kit includes

  • Reinforced rear clip for mounting via rear pin or fixed stock (adapted for long gearboxes).
  • Extended base with housing for M3 inserts (brass recommended for DMR builds).
  • Reinforced side clip for routing the Pulsar-D HPA line.
  • Front locking top cap specifically designed for MAXX MODEL chambers in SR25 platforms.
  • Rear plate with mounting point for an M5 screw (additional reinforcement for DMR builds).

V2.5 specific note: This kit is adapted for the extra length of the V2.5 SR25 gearbox, featuring longer clips and increased contact surfaces to improve rigidity in precision setups.

Installation and adjustment

  1. Printing and preparation

    • Print the parts with 70–85% infill (higher rigidity for DMR builds).
    • Carefully sand internal and contact areas for a precise fit.
    • Apply dry lubricant or wax on sliding surfaces to facilitate maintenance in long-term builds.
  2. Installation in the SR25 replica

    • Insert the extended base into the ICS lower and install the M3 inserts (brass recommended).
    • Place the rear clip aligned with the V2.5 long gearbox rear pin.
    • Install the MAXX MODEL chamber with the long DMR inner barrel; the top cap locks the assembly while keeping everything perfectly centered.
    • Route the GATE Pulsar-D HPA line through the reinforced side clip.
  3. Final fixation

    • Secure the rear plate using an M5 screw and large washer for maximum rigidity in DMR builds.
    • Verify that the Pulsar-D nozzle enters perfectly centered into the MAXX MODEL chamber.
    • Configure the Pulsar-D pressure for DMR (lower pressure, higher volume) and perform accuracy tests at 50+ meters.

Required components (not included)

  • 4× M3 × 4.2 mm inserts (brass recommended for DMR)
  • 4× M3 × 8 SHCS screws
  • 1× M5 × 20 mm screw + washer (rear plate fixation)

Lower receiver recommendations

Compatible with the original ICS metal lower receiver for SR25 platforms.

3D printing parameters

  • Approximate print time: ~1 h 45 min (longer parts for V2.5).
  • Recommended material: PLA+ or PETG
  • Layer height: 0.10 mm – 0.15 mm
  • Infill: 70–85% (DMR builds require higher rigidity)
