Version 2.1 of the hop-up alignment system, designed specifically for ICS MPX/CXP HPA replicas using:

• Blackdraft Phoenix engine (compact high-performance HPA engine with an excellent price-to-performance ratio).
• RETROARMS chamber (hop-up chamber optimized for subcarbine platforms with excellent bucking support and precise adjustment).

This kit ensures solid alignment between the Phoenix nozzle and the RETROARMS chamber, perfectly adapting to the compact design of the ICS MPX/CXP platform while maintaining compatibility with the original ICS lower receiver. Ideal for HPA conversions in SMG platforms.

What the kit includes

• Rear clip for mounting on the original ICS lower or printable alternatives.
• Base with housing for M3 threaded inserts (optional brass for increased durability).
• Side clip for routing the HPA tube/line.
• Front locking top cap specifically designed for the RETROARMS chamber.
• Rear plate with mounting point for an M5 screw (additional reinforcement).

Installation and adjustment

1. Printing and preparation

• Print the parts with 65–80% infill.
• Lightly sand internal and contact surfaces to ensure a smooth fit in the ICS lower.
• Apply dry lubricant or wax on sliding surfaces to make assembly easier.

2. Installation in the replica

• Insert the base directly into the original ICS lower receiver and install the M3 inserts.
• Mount the rear clip aligned with the ICS mounting points.
• Install the RETROARMS chamber with the MPX/CXP inner barrel; the top cap locks the assembly while keeping everything centered.
• Route the Blackdraft Phoenix HPA line through the side clip, making use of the compact internal space of the MPX/CXP platform.

3. Final fixation

• Secure the rear plate with an M5 screw and washer for maximum rigidity.
• Verify that the Phoenix nozzle enters the RETROARMS chamber perfectly centered without lateral play.
• Perform feeding tests considering the compact design of the ICS platform.
